A bass bansuri in B at 20 inches, cut from seasoned bamboo. Bass flutes are long, and the finger stretch is real: this is not the one to start on. In return you get the low, breathy register that carries a raga slowly. Sarfuddin's workshop is the name most concert bansuri players end up at, and every flute is tuned before it ships.

Open the packing as soon as it arrives so the instrument can air and settle into tune. Keep it away from direct heat and damp.
