Terms of service
These terms apply to orders placed with Tabla Sitar Musicals. Please read them alongside our Shipping and Refund policies.
Placing an order
Placing an order on this site does not take payment and does not by itself complete a sale. It is a request. We confirm availability and contact you on WhatsApp or by email within one working day with payment details. The sale is made once we confirm and payment is settled.
We may decline or cancel an order if an instrument turns out not to be available, if the price or description was wrong, or if we cannot ship to your destination.
Prices
All prices are shown and charged in US dollars, regardless of where you are ordering from. We do not sell in local currencies. If you pay by card, your own bank sets the exchange rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, which we do not see and do not control.
When we contact you with payment details, you are welcome to ask about paying in your own currency. Depending on your country we can often arrange this through Stripe, PayPal or Wise. We will tell you which is cheapest for you.
Prices include shipping to our free shipping countries. Customs duties and import taxes are not included and are payable by you.
The instruments
Our instruments are handmade. Photographs show the model, not the individual instrument, and grain, colour, finish and size vary between pieces. Where an instrument is tuned, it is tuned before dispatch, but wood and reeds move in transit and with changes in climate, and some settling is normal.
Availability
Stock shown on the site is a guide. Because instruments are made in small numbers and some are made to order, we confirm availability on every order before taking payment.
Liability
Our responsibility for an order is limited to the value of that order. Transit damage is handled under our Refund policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall to the courts of Gurugram, Haryana.
