Pritam Singh's Classical model: eleven main strings and twenty four sympathetics, which is the full concert specification. The most instrument he builds, and the one that takes the longest to tune and the longest to learn.

The tuning of these strings can be handled relatively freely -- depending on which sounds are to be emphasised. Open the packing as soon as it arrives so the instrument can air and settle into tune. Keep it away from direct heat and damp.
