Our entry tabla set, and the one we send to most people buying their first. A steel bayan rather than brass keeps the price and the weight down, and the sheesham dayan is tuned to C# before it ships. It will not have the depth of a heavy copper bayan, but it is properly made and properly tuned, which is more than can be said for most instruments at this price.

Open the packing as soon as it arrives so the instrument can air and settle into tune. Keep it away from direct heat and damp.
Our largest instruments, full-size tanpuras and surbahars, travel as dedicated freight rather than at a standard rate, so their shipping is quoted individually.
Payment is by card link for orders up to $700, or bank transfer for any amount. Import duties, where your country charges them, are payable on delivery and are not included in the price.
