Description
Brass rather than wrought iron, which is the reason for the price. Brass rings warmer, sustains longer and sits better under Carnatic playing where the morchang has to hold a note rather than just punctuate. Hand forged in India.

Open the packing as soon as it arrives so the instrument can air and settle into tune. Keep it away from direct heat and damp.
