About Harmonium

Harmonium is an Indian musical instrument that resembles reed organ. Harmonium is a manually-pumped musical instrument that uses fixed reeds for creating basic sounds.
Harmoniums consist of reed banks (metal bands which vibrate when air flows over them), a pumping apparatus (bellows), stops for drones, and the keyboard. In order to play the instrument, one must pump air into the instrument and press the desired keys. Harmoniums give an amazing amount of good sound and music, even for the beginner with little skill or experience. Their mellow, warm-sounding tone blends well with the human voice; thus they are especially well-suited for individual or group singing.

About this Harmonium - No. 42 - 7 Stops

This harmonium has 7 stops, providing adequate drone/airflow options. This harmonium also has 3¼ octaves on the keyboard, giving it 39 Keys. The double-fold bellow makes it convienient to pump the harmonium. Also, this harmonium has two sets of reeds.

Tuning: We tune this harmonium to A440Mhz
