About Naal
The Naal originated in India and it is a wooden two-headed drum. Naal heads are tuned by bolts. To Play Naal sit horizontally on a cushion in front of a crossed-leg Naal the larger bass-skin is played with the left hand, the treble skin by the right hand. The treble skin is fitted with three concentric rings of dense black hardened paste which helps create a sound resonant with harmonics. The bass fundamental tone will be the lower tonic. Traditionally, the Naal is favorite percussion instrument for north and south India.

Please note that we test all the items before shipping. We also pack our items with great care so that they arrive in perfect condition. However, in a rare case, if you receive a damaged or defective item we will collect and replace it at our cost.
Please inform us within two days of the receipt of a defective item by sending an email to help@tablasitar.com along with the details of the defects and photographs. We will also ask to file a report with the courier company so that we can claim insurance.
Please be patient and we will make sure that you are satisfied.

Sorry, No Returns (yet!): All sales are final and we don't offer returns at the moment. We do, however, offer replacements if you receive defective or damaged items. We will be offering 7-day local US, UK and Canada returns very soon!
We Pay Custom Duties: If you have been charged a customs duty, please email us a copy of the receipt on help@tablasitar.com within two days and we will pay it back to you. This only applies to USA and UK.
Remote-area Charge: If you live away from the city in a remote area in US/Canada/Australia, courier companies charge a little extra for delivery.
