About Mukta Das Golden Ganesh Tabla Set - 2012 Edition
Mukta Das is a very well known & respected Tabla Maker from Calcutta. He has served the great tabla masters such as Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Krishan Maharaj, Pandit Shankar Ghosh, Pandit Swapan Chowdhury, Pandit Annindo Chatterjee, Pandit Kumar Bose, Pandit Samar Saha, Pandit Shures Tawalkar and Pandit Bickram Ghosh.
Here the Bayan is a beautifully hand-carved Ganesha design in copper. Dayan is beautifully made from special Maha-agni Calcutta wood.The puddis are made by Mukta Das using the goat skin and undoubtedly he makes the best puddis in the business with a unmatched precision. You can always change the Dayan from Maha-agni to Shishum at no extra cost. You can also upgrade this to a Fiber case Trolley with an additional $169. Please note that when you buy tabla set from us and order it online, we always test the items before shipping to you. We also pack the instruments with great care so that they arrive in perfect condition. However, in a rare case, if you receive a damaged or defective item we will replace it at our cost.
Please inform us within two days of the receipt of a defective item by sending an email to help@tablasitar.com along with the details of the defects and photographs. We will also ask to file a report with FedEX so that we can claim insurance.
