About Designer Brass Tabla Set

Prepared to mark the beat to India's melodies, this  Designer Brass Tabla resonates with the allure of the past.

A tabla comprises two drums, a bass drum or bayan which is the biggest of the two, played with the left hand, and the treble or dayan, to be placed on the right.

The bayan features heavy brass body whereas the dayan is carved from sturdy wood. Both feature goatskin drumheads and steel bolts to tune the pitch. Both feature goatskin drumheads and camel leather straps to adjust the pitch. A steel tuning hammer is included while the drums rest upon specially designed pads.

This tabla is made with alluring visual harmony enticing percussionists to experience the rhythms of tradition.
